The Independent Black Film Festival

The Independent Black Film Festival (IBFF) is an annual celebration of film, technology, music and video games that took place March 12-18, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia. The festival featured 66 independent films, intimate panel discussions, a special screening of Academy Award winning film Tsotsi, and a closing night Awards Ceremony hosted by America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Pigford with a special presentation by Robert Townsend. The 135^th Street agency was hired to secure sponsorship for this event. We brought in event partners such as Starbucks, LAB 601, Allhiphop.com, UPSCALE, and Grip Magazine.
